Winners all round at Kempton Races
We are very pleased to report that our night in the Royal Box at Irish Night at Kempton Racecourse was a roaring success. Whether you were up or down on the tote everyone agreed that the highlight of the night was Frankie Dettori’s treble win. However, the highlight of our night was the success of our bucket collection which we held in aid of The Aisling Appeal. Thanks to the kind people who attended the races we raised a fantastic £443.88. While we are continuing to raise funds for The Aisling Appeal, The Ireland Fund of Great Britain also needs your continued support for the many worthwhile charities we give grants to during the year.
The night was such an enjoyable evening for everyone thanks to the hard work and generosity of everyone who contributed to the night so we would like to take this opportunity to thank a few people. Firstly, we would like to give a huge thank you to our generous sponsors without whom the night would not have been such a success and we look forward to working with them again in the future. Quinn London, Thames Materials Ltd and Coyle Personnel all sponsered a race each to help raise funds for The Ireland Fund of Great Britian.
We would like to thank Kempton Racecourse for a wonderful evening of racing and to their staff for the excellent work and for being so pleasant to deal with throughout the evening. We would like to thank all our volunteers who gave a helping hand on the night and a special thank you to the London Rose, Nora Ni Fhlannagain for coming along. Finally, we would like to thank everyone who donated to the bucket collection on their way home. This support for The Aisling Appeal is deeply appreciated.
