The Club was set up in 2002, it is run for and by Irish pensioners in a room off St Joseph's Church in Harrow.  There are currently around 45 members and they meet once a week, over 90 percent of members are widows.  The meetings consist of tea and delicious home made cake, a game of bingo and each fortnight a professional comes in to do armchair exercises.  They also organise outings to historical sites and the seaside and have a special lunch around St Patrick's Day and Christmas.

They were a really lovely bunch of people who spoke about how nice it is to have something to look forward to each week.

This grant will be used to pay for keep fit sessions, outings and weekly refreshments.
